Viewership
On cable The Mary Hanson Show reaches 1.86 million viewers. On Channel 6, the Metro Cable Network or MCN, the show reaches 1.5 million viewers potentially, and in addition, the show reaches 360,000 viewers via other cable systems (MTN, SPNN, and PACT). Each half-hour segment airs a minimum of ten times on cable, and most of these airing times are during prime time. (See Airing Schedule for specific times.) The show has been on cable for the past 27 years and has had strong support from the Star Tribune which has contributed to high viewer awareness and interest.
Via Channel 17 (KTCI), public television’s “sister” channel to Channel 2, The Mary Hanson Show reaches 2,772,650 households. Each show usually airs once on KTCI where the show is on for a season each year or approximately four months. The show has been on KTCI for the past 13 years.
Plans are underway to also get the show to a global audience via the Internet.

- 26% are managers, owners and other professionals. This is the largest group of viewers.
